Enjoy a ride down the St. Johns River in our Imagidome Theater. Then
learn about 19th century life through our exhibits, guided tour, and
a scavenger hunt throughout the house. Field trips to DeBary Hall
may also include parlor games, historic outdoor games, crafts, or
picnic areas.Our Educational and Program Coordinator will work
with each instructor to tailor a tour to meet any requirements or
subjects of interest. Our themes can include science and innovation,
archaeology, history, and ecology. Call DeBary Hall to set up your
field trip and discuss our various field trip options.
ECHO Rangers
A hands-on program aimed at educating youth,
their families and scout troops about Volusia County's ECHO
(environmental, cultural, heritage and outdoor) assets.

Summer Quest Series
DeBary Hall offers several day camps throughout the summer. The
past can be a blast with these camps:
- History Quest
Experience what life was like at the turn of the century.
- Invention Quest
Learn about the inventions used at DeBary Hall that could be
considered high-tech for its time.
- Eco Quest
Learn about Florida’s natural habitat, the plants, the
animals and the geographical features of Central Florida.
- Adventure Quest
Participants will learn problem-solving and team-building
while challenging their personal knowledge and physical ability.
Outreach programs
DeBary Hall educators are available to visit your site to conduct fun
and educational outreach programs. Our traveling history package
includes the DeBary Trunk, which includes a classroom exhibit,
artifacts from DeBary Hall, educational worksheets, and a CD-rom with
a virtual tour of the historic home and property. Programs last
approximately 45 minutes.
